Carrot – Vegetable That Hides Magical Effects
The carrot is a two year vegetable and it is very important for the diet. It originates in Europe and because of the habit to cure, people called it “small handy pharmacy.” If consumed daily, the carrot can prevent many diseases because it contains carotene (provitamin A), vitamins B, E, F, essential oil, pectin, fitosterin, asparagine, glutamine, galactan, pentosan, inositol, sugar , starch, cellulose, protein and other minerals. The concentration of carotene which has healing effect on the stomach, intestines, skin and eyes, is bigger in carrots than any other vegetable. Carrots should be fully used, even the leaves and roots should not be thrown away because they hold precious ingredients.
The carrot contains carotene and provitamin which protects the lining and has a strong antioxidant effect to “kill” the free radicals that cause tumor and contribute to rapid aging. Thanks to the pleasant taste and easy digestion, carrots are introduced into the nutrition of infants as one of the first vegetables.
When we are talking about this amazing vegetable, we also need to mention the carrot juice. The carrot juice strengthens the immune system, improves appetite, accelerates digestion, strengthens the bone tissue, normalizes metabolism and repairs the inflammation and infection. It is recommended in the treatment of liver and digestive tract, it purifies the liver and discards harmful substances, and has a soothing effect on the endocrine system. Carrot juice is an excellent remedy for many diseases. However, one of the important effects of this juice is affecting the normalization of metabolism, weight reduction and the establishment of the chemical balance in the whole organism.
Anemia and fatigue
If you fatigue bothers you and besides that, you have weak blood, the right therapy for you is carrot juice. In a liter bottle pour 500 ml of carrot juice, beetroot and radish. It is important that the freshly squeezed juices are poured into a dark bottle. You should drink the juice for three days a month, before all main meals.
Also, you can make juice from 285 ml carrot, 85 ml beetroot and 85 ml cucumber. The prepared mixture of juices should be taken twenty days, three times a day, 20-30 minutes before eating at a dose of half a glass.
The carrot juice can be combined with spinach juice – 283 ml of carrot juice and 170 ml of spinach. Mix the juices and take half a cup three times daily, before meals.
If you want to avoid making juices, we recommend you to to eat 100 grams of carrots with cream or butter, every morning. The carrot is mostly useful if it is cooked.
Immune System Strengthening
Carrots contain carotene and provitamin A that protects the mucous membrane and has a powerful antioxidant effect which means that it “kills” the free radicals that cause cancer and contributes to faster aging. In addition, the carrot accelerates the healing of the body after infectious diseases.
Recommendation: Mix five carrots with lemon juice. Drink this juice every morning.
Against Liver Disease
The carrots have a soothing effect on the diseased liver. To repair the liver disease, an ideal combination is carrot juice with milk.
Measure 100ml carrot juice and 100 ml milk. After heating the milk at a temperature of 70-80 degrees, mix it with the carrot juice. Consume this instead of breakfast, but remember to drink it slowly with small sips.
Against Stomach Worms and Intestinal Poisoning

Portion for 4 people: 2 carrots, 1 big or 2 small apples and a glass full of blueberries. Chop up the carrots and the apples into large pieces and mix them together with honey. Then add the blueberries and serve the salad in glasses. Add some sweet cream on top of the salad and season it with fried hazelnuts (optional).
